Chelsey Lutz

Account Director

With a background steeped in global communications and luxury hospitality PR, Chelsey lends a sophisticated worldview and hit-the-ground running verve to every account.

Her premier JPR clients include Grace Hotels, The Ivy, The Nantucket Hotel & Resort, Winnetu Oceanside Resort, Relais & Châteaux, Scribner's Catskill Lodge and Mission Point.

Chelsey has an especially rich history in community messaging and is a skillful storyteller. For the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau, she spearheaded a campaign to showcase the city, reinvigorated and reborn after the fifth anniversary of the ravaging Katrina hurricane. Considering the event coincided with the BP oil spill, Chelsey juggled crisis control while still showing the world the city’s massive recovery. For The Quirk Hotel in Richmond, Virginia, a boutique hotel inspired by a local art gallery, Chelsey threaded the narrative of how the property single-handedly catapulted the community’s cultural revival. On the luxury front, she helped lead the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s campaign to establish its pillars of perfectionism that landed it in the upper echelon of hospitality where it remains today.

Her efforts have garnered national media placements and her clients have achieved international acclaim including Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards, Departures 100, and Conde Nast Traveler’s coveted Hot List.

"Chelsey is the rare public relations rep who I trust completely—not only to assist me in crafting the right angle for a story and help me make my deadlines, but also to act as an all-important filter for which pitches ultimately make it into my inbox. She’s a pleasure to work with on all levels—always prompt, professional, and completely genuine."
