For the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau, she spearheaded a campaign to showcase the city, reinvigorated and reborn after the fifth anniversary of the ravaging Katrina hurricane. Considering the event coincided with the BP oil spill, Chelsey juggled crisis control while still showing the world the city’s massive recovery. For The Quirk Hotel in Richmond, Virginia, a boutique hotel inspired by a local art gallery, Chelsey threaded the narrative of how the property single-handedly catapulted the community’s cultural revival. On the luxury front, she helped lead the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s campaign to establish its pillars of perfectionism that landed it in the upper echelon of hospitality where it remains today.
