Lindsey Head

Named 2018 CFO of the Year by San Diego Business Journal, Lindsey has guided JPR’s financial strategy for nearly 10 years, accommodating the agency’s double-digit growth both globally and locally. Most notably, she was the smooth operator behind the agency’s new US headquarters in San Diego’s Bankers Hill neighborhood.

The point person on all matters legal and technology, Lindsey is a levelheaded, passionate financial steward of the agency. Beyond the numbers, she has transformed the traditional CFO role into one of education and accessibility. On the front lines, she engages with teams on top agency initiatives, hosting informal Lunch & Learns on topics ranging from 401Ks to maximizing HR platforms.

Her reach can be felt throughout the greater San Diego business community, both boutique and bigtime. For the CFO Leadership Council, she serves on the steering committee and is tapped often to speak on industry forecasting. Lindsey brings breadth and community spirit to Start-Up San Diego, the California Real Estate Women Leadership Series and The Gritty Movement to name a few. 

Ali Lundberg

With 20 years of experience, Ali is a highly regarded, industry leader in public relations and marketing. An executive committee member for PRSA Travel + Tourism for eight years, she is an award-winning PR and social pro whose expertise ranges from digital marketing and earned media strategies to trend forecasting.

She’s led fresh-faced creative campaigns for countless renovations and re-imaginations with staying power in the travel industry, including the Enchantment Resort and Mii amo Spa where her passion for the world of wellness was first ignited. For the award-winning L’Apothecary Spa at L’Auberge de Sedona, she was the concept originator. Ali also led the team that catapulted Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa into an elite category of lifestyle and luxury properties after its remodel. Her personal passion for adventure and fitness, paired with her expertise, make for a powerful synergy when leading clients like Under Canvas, Rancho La Puerta and Mountain Trek.

Also on the A-list roster: Ali oversaw media relations strategies for the opening of Washington School House Hotel in Park City, the ART Hotel in Denver, InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown, The Camby and Mountain Shadows in her native Phoenix and most recently the transformation of MacArthur Place in Sonoma. Lauren Clifford Knudsen

Lauren is a founding team member at JPR whose 15 years experience have brought her from Boston to Southern California to NYC, where she has called home for the past decade. With a knack for crisis management and comeback campaigns, her true passion is building, repositioning and elevating independent hotels and hospitality brands. She’s as passionate as she is knowledgeable about the travel space personally and professionally, which drives her hands-on approach, integrating all aspects of marketing into the successful PR and Social strategies she builds for her clients.

Kristin Moller

As senior vice president at JPR, Kristin Moller brings over 15 years of hospitality public relations expertise to the team. In late 2019, she launched the agency’s presence in Toronto, bringing JPR to a seventh city and third country since the agency’s inception in 2004.

At JPR, Kristin is focused on high-level client management, crisis communications, and creative campaign development. Her leadership style is consistent and solid, fostering a culture of trust and teamwork to deliver results in both traditional PR and social campaigns, to amplify storytelling across all channels. Since launching the Toronto presence in late 2019, she’s focused on building and strengthening the agency’s presence with Canadian media and clients.

Kristin is part of the JPR leadership team and is co-chair of the people committee, which oversees all things relating to personnel, human resources, staffing, trainings, and internships at the agency. Kristin also leads JPR’s media training program, focusing on C-suite and executive level purpose driven sessions to coach clients in best practices for managing media conversations. 

Prior to joining JPR in 2013, Kristin’s experience included acting as a spokesperson for variety of destination tourism offices, CVBs, and OTAs. She spent several years working with global hospitality brands and notable boutique hotels, shaping their media narratives to create impactful campaigns with revenue generating effects. Kristin is an expert storyteller and trusted resource for clients and media alike. She’s secured cover stories in major luxury magazines, interviews for business leaders and lead many award-winning campaigns. Kristin is a lifelong learner, whose curiosity along with passion for travel and helping people, has found the perfect convergence in working as a publicist for travel brands and experiences.

Suzanne Brose

Since joining the JPR team in 2010, Suzanne has spearheaded multi-faceted media programs for hotels, resorts, and destination marketing. A seasoned PR professional and passionate leader of the West Coast team, Suzanne is consistent cultivator of creative campaigns and architect of established media relationships. She is a publicity innovator, effective communicator, and leader within the travel and hospitality industry  currently serving on the Executive Board for the PRSA Travel + Tourism Section.

In her role, Suzanne’s expertise includes strategic leadership and counsel to new and long-standing clients and management of hotel openings and re-launches, including Lido House, Marriott Irvine Spectrum, Halepuna Waikiki by Halekulani, Monarch Beach Resort, and Grand Hyatt at SFO. She has also shone a spotlight on JPR’s tourism clients including Baja California and generating positive regional and national awareness for the state and shifting the travelers perception to showcase its adventure travel, culinary gems and wellness experiences. She has led JPR’s partnership with the Utah Office of Tourism for the past two years with successful creative campaigns and media relations focusing on its urban markets, Red Emerald initiative, and more. With her strategic vision, brands and tourism destinations begin to shine even in a crowded market and goals are achieved.

Suzanne is articulate in all aspects of the hospitality realm. Prior to joining JPR she held both in-house resort and agency positions with more than fifteen years experience, including a PR career in NYC creating national media campaigns for luxury beauty brands, adding to her rich background in media relations. Suzanne studied Communication at San Diego State University.

Emma Hartland-Mahon

With over 12 years of experience, Emma is a global force in the luxury PR industry and launched JPR’s first international flagship in London, which in under two years of opening, was a finalist in the highly coveted PR Week Awards for Best New Consultancy.

With an intuitive grasp of brand strategy and a sixth-sense for business development, Emma knows how to make a splash internationally and is trusted by some of the world’s most demanding luxury brands spanning travel & hospitality, lifestyle, real estate and design.

Her background in real estate coupled with experience of having lived in eight countries, makes her the ultimate global insider who understands the ever-changing, complex travel & lifestyle industries. She is skillful in the partnership lexicon and is a consummate networker, passionate about delivering commercially driven campaigns for the agency’s portfolio of clients.

Emma’s integrated PR experience spans some of best known and iconic names in the travel industry, from big name brands such as Marriott, to independent hotels & associations (Leading Hotels of the World), boutique collections and destinations. A handful of names include The Goring, multiple Relais & Châteaux (Chewton Glen, Cliveden House, 11 Cadogan Gardens, The Surrey), Y.CO Superyachts, Adare Manor, the island of Mustique, amongst others.

Emma is highly regarded for her creative energy and ability to see, and operate, ‘outside the box’. Her extensive knowledge of working with high net worth audiences and unrivalled network of global media contacts, international influencers and collaboration partners ensures results which exceed client expectations.

Under Emma’s direction, JPR’s UK office continues to diversify its offering, working with new and established clients to deliver commercially impactful and award winning results.

Tanya Scalisi

With more than twelve years of experience, Tanya is a high-level media relations professional with the pulse of the dynamic travel,  hospitality, and lifestyle landscapes. Tanya is the strategic lead across several of the agency’s marquis accounts including Marriott International-The Americas, Disney Signature Experiences, Great Wolf Lodge,  The Palms and The Shore Club Turks & Caicos, The Setai Miami Beach, several Ritz-Carlton properties, and tech leader Jitjatjo. Her experience is vast, with particular specialty in global brands, Caribbean resorts, executive positioning, and family travel.

In the broadcast media world, Tanya is a heavy hitter who has landed clients key segments and expert appearances on Bloomberg, Live with Kelly, The Bachelor, The Today Show, PIX 11 and Good Day New York. She serves as direct client counsel across the C-suite, also providing leaders with media training and A-list interview and profile opportunities.

Tanya is skilled when it comes to cross-pollinating partnerships with brands, working closely to concept and execute The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island’s annual Wellness Festival. She’s been tapped for creative ideas and thought leadership in reinvigorating her clients’ repertories and reestablishing their audiences for the next generation.

In 2014, the Penn State University grad was named to The New York Observer’s “9 Names to Watch in PR,” a list recognizing top PR pros under 30-years-old.  She’s an HSMAI Gold Award winner many times over for campaigns she created, and was published in O’Dwyer’s in July 2019, penning an article on the power of partnerships in the industry.

Chelsey Kirby

With a dozen years steeped in global communications and luxury hospitality PR, Chelsey lends a sophisticated worldview and hit-the-ground-running verve to every account. Her premier JPR clients include Relais & Châteaux where for the last 4+ years she has helped lead the global association’s worldwide awareness campaign, establishing its pillars of individualism and sustainability, landing it in the upper echelon of hospitality here in the USA. Her work with Relais & Châteaux additionally includes individual representation of several members including Eden Roc Cap Cana (Dominican Republic), Old Edwards (Highlands, NC), The Inn at Dos Brisas (Texas) and The Surrey (NYC).

Chelsey has an especially rich history in community messaging for destinations and is a skillful storyteller. She currently oversees the Visit North Carolina account at JPR, serving as strategy and point person for the state tourism account which represents more than 100 counties. Her strategic work on the account includes presentations at twice yearly public relations conferences in addition to a heavy media relations lift. Earlier on in Chelsey’s career, she represented the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau and spearheaded a campaign to showcase the city, reinvigorated and reborn after the fifth anniversary of the ravaging Katrina hurricane. Considering the event coincided with the BP oil spill, Chelsey juggled crisis control while still showing the world the city’s massive recovery.

Known as “The Opener” at JPR, Chelsey’s specialty lies within hotel openings. Throughout her career, she has opened more than 20 hotels globally. During her 4+ years with J Public Relations, she has overseen the openings of Bobby Hotel (Nashville), Encore Boston Harbor, InterContinental Washington D.C. – The Wharf, Rosedon Hotel (Bermuda) and Scribner’s Catskill Lodge. This year, she has opened Shandaken Inn (Catskills) and Quirk Hotel Charlottesville, a property near and dear to her heart as she opened the first Quirk Hotel in Richmond back in 2015.
